Tips and notes
A profile can hold thousands of posts, so a full account grab takes longer and produces a larger archive than a single tweet. If you only need recent media, the Media tab is the fastest starting point.
- Only public accounts and tweets can be downloaded
- Protected (private) accounts are not accessible
- Videos come down as real video files, not screen recordings
- Original filenames and posting order are preserved

Does it get full-resolution images?
Yes. gallery-dl requests the original file Twitter/X stores, not the shrunken version shown in the timeline, so you get the largest quality the account uploaded.
